Prayer request for Brenda Chiavarini's friend Lorna

Hi Michael,

My friend Lorna's mom Arnette just passed away in Jamaica.  Lorna is one of those people who's faith always lifts your soul and brings you closer to God. Now she is in need of some lifting up. Lorna was saving money to go to see her mom, but found out her mom was in great need of an operation and sent it all for her operation last week.  At first her mom was doing well and then things quickly changed yesterday. Now Lorna and her 2 daughters need to get to Jamaica ASAP.  I'm raising funds so they can get emergency passports and tickets.  Can all your prayer warriors please pray that we can raise the money they need and also for Lorna's health during this time?

I strongly believe in the power of prayer.  The power of those on this prayer line have helped my mother over a year ago when doctors thought she was not going to make it and I know He will continue to bless all our requests as we pray together from house to house, from east to west.....He listens and answers as we are all in agreement.  

God bless each and every person who takes the time to pray for the needs of others.  May you see the face of God smiling on you!!!

O God who are the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe, grant to Lorna such a consciousness of your indwelling and surrounding presence that she may permit you to give her health and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty God, through the death of your Son on the cross, you have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead you have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in you on earth praise you for ever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
