Prayer Request from Ann for Matthew and Sharon

This is from Ann Ford. Please add Matthew to your prayers.  We pray that his medical treatment is successful and also for his rapid healing with minimal pain and complete recovery to health, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.  His wife Sharon and his entire family are also in our prayers.  Thank you so much and God bless you and yours, Teri & Michael (see below)

Hello Michael,

 

Would you please send out an urgent prayer request for some dear friends of ours?  Sharon and Matthew are part of our Friendship Baptist Church family.  Last week Matthew was hit while riding his motorcycle by a lady who ran a red light.  He has extensive injuries including two collapsed lungs and has already had two surgeries.  They are keeping him sedated and are trying to bring down his fever so that he can have another surgery.  Please pray that he responds positively to treatment and that his fever and breaks so that his treatment can continue.  Also pray for strength and comfort for his wife and family.  Sharon was glad to hear that many others would be praying for them.

Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon Matthew with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon him, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Prayer Before Surgery
Loving Father, we entrust Matthew to Your care; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, he may be restored to soundness of health and live in perfect harmony with You and with those around him. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.
