Prayer Request from Pam Terry: Please pray for Cathy Sweeney

This is from Pam Terry. Thank you so much for your prayers and God bless you and your loved ones, Teri & Michael (see below)

Dear Prayer Warriors,
Please pray for Cathy Sweeney, (my accountant's sister), she has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and is undergoing chemo with a plan for surgery in a month or so.

Cathy lives on Catalina, so it is arduous for her to go to her cancer treatments in Long Beach. The chemo has her very depleted. Unfortunately as so often happens with ovarian cancer, it was found late, so the cancer has spread to other parts of her body.

Cathy particularly needs prayers to help her with the strength to get to the City of Hope. She is hoping they can help to cure her, but all the locations are far from Long Beach (which is where she gets off the boat from Catalina).

Cathy has a strong family behind her, but a healing miracle from our Lord would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for storming heaven with your prayers on her behalf.

God's blessing on all of you,
Pam Terry

Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon Cathy with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
