Hi Michael -

Special urgent request for prayers for our dear friends' sweet five year old daughter, who is in the hospital with sudden pneumonia and having a surgical procedure today. This comes after ten days of illness.

Please pray for her healing, as well as for her concerned family, - parents, grandparents and big sis (age 9).

Many thanks for the prayers and I will update all as soon as I know more details. Hopefully positive word after the procedure.

A PRAYER TO SAINT GERARD MAJELLA FOR A SICK CHILD

St. Gerard, who, like the Savior, loved children so tenderly 
    and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death, 
    listen to us who are pleading for our sick child. 
    We thank God for the great gift of our daughter
    and ask Him to restore our child to health 
    if such be His holy will. This favor, we beg of you 
    through your love for all children and mothers.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING
Heavenly Father, I trust in Your  great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles  and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch  the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord  Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and  sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my  eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your  presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I  encounter that are in need of prayer.  In  the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
