Dear Prayer Warriors,
It is with great sadness that I ask for prayers for the repose of the soul of Pete Nitrini of St Agustine's. He passed away this week from heart failure, after having survived esophageal cancer over a year ago. He was deeply involved with St Augustine's for many, many years, doing everything from serving as sacrostan at Mass to repairing the Tabernacle. He was the Priest's right hand man and a hub of the church community. Although Teri and I did not know him for very long, his vibrant spirit and strength of character made a lasting impression. We will always remember him leading the Rosary during Holy Hour and his devotion to our Blessed Mother was absolute. He will be greatly missed. Please also pray for his wife, Pat, for her comfort and strength, as well as the rest of his family.

Note: There will be a Rosary tonight at 7:00pm and funeral Mass tomorrow at 10:00am, both at St Augustine's, Culver City.

thank you for praying for my uncle. He is I am sure playing Golf with many others or maybe even some baseball. Who knows. Keep my aunt in prayer though. Hard to lose your best friend after being married for 54 years... know each other for 64 years.
