Hi Michael. Thanks for sending our Prayer Warriors this update from Josie. xo valentine (Hey, Teri)
Dear Prayer Warriors:
Finally! A message from Josie. This is the first we've heard from her since her recent mastectomy. Please continue to keep Josie in your prayers. She has a long row to hoe and will need her spirit lifted many times along the way. God bless all of you. valentine

Hi friends and family!
Here's the latest - went to the oncologist today. He is concerned about the involvement of so many lymph nodes, that he is sending me in for a CT scan, a bone scan and an echogram (heart).. to rule out that the cancer has spread to another part of my body. When the results of these tests come back, we will discuss the regiment for chemo (how often and how long) and then start chemo within the next two weeks. After either a 16 week or a 24 week bout of chemo, we will then go into radiation therapy and then hormone therapy (taking a pill every day to block the estrogen and progesterone my body produces) for the next 5 years. So that is the latest - I feel good and really want to 'get on with it '- and then get on with living life. So once again, keep us in your prayers and thanks for all your prayers in the past few weeks!
Love you all,
josie and brad
