| Michael and Teri, I want to thank all of the praying community of St. Agatha for their kind prayers for Larry. I just talked with my son, Mark, and learned that Larry passed away peacefully last night at home with his family around him. We are relieved that his suffering is at an end so quickly. I ask continued prayer at this time for his wife, Laurel, and their son, Chris, and my daughter-in-law, Shelley. God is so good. original prayer request from Sunday, March 27: Hi Michael & Teri, Asking all the prayer community of St. Agatha to keep our daughter-in-law's father, Larry, in prayers. He is under hospice care at home and is dealing with the last stages of brain cancer that started with a skin melanoma and spread to the lungs and brain. The doctor tells the family that he probably has a few weeks left. Our prayers are with all of the family. In Loving Memory Almighty God, through the death of your Son on the cross, you have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead you have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in you on earth praise you for ever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. |
