This is from our very close friend Jaccoma "Joc" Maultsby, and he is a good father to his four children and tries his best to help as many other children (and adults) as he can. Thank you for your thoughts & prayers, and may your father's day be full of family joy and blessings from God. Love & peace to you and your families, Teri & Michael (see below)
Hi Michael,
I am writing to ask the Prayer Warriors to pray for a group of fathers, mothers and children in need. These families are struggling with many serious issues. The mothers are crying many tears as they try to hold the families together while their lives and marriages are under severe attack(Domestic Violence, Homicide, Homelessness, etc. ). Presently they are all huddled together in one home trying to find their way.
(One of the mothers in this group of families was referred to us due to her dire situation which resulted from her husband being robbed and murdered after leaving the bank with money for his employee payroll).
This week with help from St Agatha's ( Deacon Ricardo) we were able to win a couple of battles for them.(The war continues).
1.) Their water was turned off leaving thirteen children and many adults temporarily without water 2.) They had an Eviction Notice.
Both of these situations were handled by the Grace of God.
Please include in your message a thank you for the miraculous aid that God worked through the St Agatha family this week for these families in need. Many of them are planning to return to Mass this Sunday. (Spanish & English).
Please pray for us(Project Special Friend) and all those who work to help God's children in need.
JM
Prayer of Praise
Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, he who in his great mercy gave us new birth, a birth unto hope which draws its life from the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead; a birth to an imperishable inheritance, incapable of fading or defilement, which is kept in heaven for you who are guarded with God's power through faith; a birth to a salvation which stands ready to be revealed in the last days. Amen.
