This is from one of our new St Agatha choir members and a new Prayer Warrior, Pamela Terry. Thank you for adding her friend Michael Galvez to your prayers and may God bless you and your family, Teri & Michael (see below)
Dear Prayer Warriors,
Would you please say prayers for my dear, dear, friend, Michael Galvez. He suffers from Bipolar Disease and has been in distress and depression for many months. He is a gifted, brilliant person, who at 29 experiences life as if it has been taken away from him. His medication worked well for a year but now he's rarely able to function, and completely unable to go an entire week without cycling down. His doctor has given up hope that any other or increasing the current dosage on his medications will work.
But we all know God doesn't believe that, and he can do miraculous things for us. Please pray for long term help for Michael. And pray for him to take/find the time to reconnect with God and his Catholic faith. He expresses to me his desire to build a fruitful relationship with God and reengage in his Catholic faith. With your prayers, I know anything is possible.
Thank you.
Yours in Christ,
Pamela Terry PRAYER FOR THE SICK
Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in Your healing presence. Show Your mercy as You close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking You for all Your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.
