Prayer Request - Jackie Gibson's friend

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Jackie Gibson has requested prayers for a dear 86 year old lady who she has been helping for the past 4 months. Her name is Caroline Manodritta, born in France and has no relatives, no children and no family. She was recently admitted to the hospital with a hemorrhaging leg at which time it was discovered that she had been hiding a giant abscess on the side of her left leg. Sadly, she let it go for too many years and it has metastasized. The doctors say it is cancer and she may lose her foot.

Jackie's request is "that the Prayer Warriors please pray for Caroline's surgery to be successful and that she will not lose her foot, and for her to have fortitude in her health and faith in Our Father. And for me (Jackie) to have the strength and know-how in order to help her the best, in getting the services she will need for her to recover. When I was at the hospital with her, she said to me that she truly believed that God sent me to her and she was so grateful I had come into her life."

Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant, Caroline, for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy, that, with her bodily health restored, she may give thanks to Thee in Thy church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
