Wonderful church family and intercessors,
A friend of mine from high school (Scappoose high, class of 81!) got a infection in his foot. He was being treated for it at home. For a while it got better, and then it got worse so he was admitted to OHSU hospital on November 19th. The next morning the nurses found him unconscious. In order to bring his high fever down they induced him into a coma. When they tried to pull him out, he didn't have the brain activity necessary. They will be removing him from life support on December 9th. His name is Jeff and he is a single dad of two beautiful daughters. The mom is mentally ill and is not involved in their lives. The youngest daughter Kara, is a senior in high school. The oldest daughter, Tia is a sophomore at Western Oregon State College. We will be going up to OHSU Sunday afternoon to pray and seek the Lord.

Prayer for the Sick
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones.
And for all Your love's sake. Amen.
