This is from Teri:
Dear Prayer Warriors,
I humbly request that you kindly pray for the repose of the soul of my brother-in-law, Larry Johnson, who died unexpectedly yesterday. I ask that special prayers go out to my sister, Maline, who was married to Larry for 30+ years. Larry was her rock. Larry and Maline retired to St. John's Island from Moore, Oklahoma (where they still retain a residence) about a year ago. Maline flew up to Oklahoma on November 2 to check on their property while Larry stayed at St. John's. She was notified by the St. John's authorities late last night that Larry had died. She left for St. John's Island early this morning, alone.
I also ask that you pray for the repose of the soul of Lorraine Hartman, the grandmother of my devoted and loving nephew, who also died yesterday; and for Lorraine's 3 daughters, 3 sons and, of course - my nephew.
Life is fragile. God bless you all and your families.
Fondly, Valentine
In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You for ever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
