Prayer Request from Teresa Gunther: Prayers for Valerie

This is from Teresa Gunther. Please add her friend's granddaughter, Valerie, plus her entire family, to your prayers. Our God can do Anything, and we pray that she will be healed and recover completely, in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen. Dear Michael and Teri,   A friend stopped me at the gym this morning to give me  an update on her granddaughter, Valerie.   She is a 37 yr. old mother of three and married, living in Arizona.   She has been fighting an  aggressive cancer for over three years and finally went to Mayo Clinic in Phoenix  and was told whatever cancer had been diagnosed was not correct and all medications she had been using have only made her much worse.    She is in process right now of having her stem cells harvested as that seems to be the only hope she has now.   I told her grandmother that I would have  our community praying for her.   We certainly do believe in God's gracious healing power.   Thanks to all.

 

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your will and know that whatever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.
