Prayer Request from Vikki for Rose and Donna & families

This is from Vikki. Please keep her friend Rose and her cousin Donna in your prayers for their tragic losses of their loved ones. We cannot imagine how they feel, but pray for their comfort and strength through our Loving and Merciful God, who is always with us and within us. Our strength is in the Lord! Thank you so much for your prayers for these two families, and may God bless you and yours, Teri & Michael (see below)

Hello Mighty Prayer Warriors, this prayer request comes with a heavy heart. May I please ask for prayers for my cousins Rose & Donna and their families during this difficult time in their lives. My cousin Rose lost her daughter-in-law Mariama, in an auto accident. Also, to my cousin Donna, her husband John took his own life. Both Mariama & John will be greatly missed by their loved ones. Blessings, Vikki

In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You for ever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer In Time Of Bereavement

Dearest Jesus, who wept at the death of your friend
and taught that they who mourn shall be comforted,
grant us
the comfort of your presence in our loss.
Send Your Holy Spirit to direct us
lest we make hasty or foolish decisions.
Send Your Spirit to give us courage
lest through fear we recoil from living.
Send Your Spirit to bring us your peace
lest bitterness, false guilt, or regret take root in our hearts.
The Lord has given.
The Lord has taken away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Amen.
O sweet mother Mary,
who knew the sadness of mourning those your heart loved most,
Jesus, your Son, and Joseph, your devoted spouse,
pray for us in our time of loss.
Amen.
