Prayer Request from Shan Foti: Prayers for Marilee's Mom

Hello Michael & Teri,

I'm in communication with my friend Marilee Frazier-Koch who is in the ER with her mother right now in Boston.  Marilee has been visiting and caring for both her mom and brother (who had surgery while she was there).  This evening, Mrs. Frazier had a COPD attack that was so bad that Marilee had to call the ambulance.  They are in the ER now and Marilee is with her and her sister-in-law Pat.  I told Marilee that I would send an urgent message to the Prayer Warriors asking that they lift up her mom, the medical as well as her in this time of distress.  May they all receive peace, comfort and the blessings they deserve.

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your will and know that whatever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.

Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon Marilee's mom with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.
