Prayer Request from Marcus for good friend Denise DeCarlo

Hello Mike and Teri,

God bless you for your continuous and devoted work toward this great ministry.

Please ask our Prayer Warriors to lift my close friend and ex-Ed DeBevic's co-worker, Denise DeCarlo (AKA "Iona Chevy"), in prayer. She just underwent a lung biopsy to determine the cause of lung blockage she's been experiencing and rule out lymphoma. She's also had a series of other challenges - her car was recently totaled and she had to put her beloved bull dog Sherman to sleep. This couldn't happen to a more generous and delightful person than Denise. Anyone who knows her knows as a 'joyful giver': she's rescued more pets than St. Francis of Assisi and has worked tirelessly on many charities to benefit the poor and needy.

The world still needs Denise's spark! Please pray that she'll be able to witness God's mercy/favor and continue to spread love and kindness to EVERYONE she meets (Denise does not have a discriminating bone in her body!)

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
