This is from Shan Foti. Thank you so much for your prayers and may God bless you and your loved ones, Teri & Michael (see below)
Dear Michael & Teri,
Hoping Teri's PET scan last week went well and that her doctors are closer to finding the source of her seizures.
I appreciate the Prayer Warriors for keeping Janice in their intentions. She got through her radiation but was left greatly weakened and pained. Today, Janice was relieved of her suffering as she passed on to the other side.
Janice touched the lives of many, especially the Foti family. We will miss her greatly. Please ask that Janice's husband Tom and children Mary, Tom, Mickey and Lori, their spouses, children and grandchildren be held especially close in prayer so that they may find the comfort they need to honor the love they shared with her and the legacy she created through them.
As always, your kindness is greatly appreciated.
Be well,
Shan
In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You forever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Subject: Prayer Request from Shan Foti: Prayers for Janice and her family
This is from Shan. Thank you so much for your prayers and God bless you and yours, Teri & Michael (see below)
Dear Michael & Teri,
I hope this finds you both well. Thank you for keeping this ministry going even while you've had your own challenges presently. I'm glad things are progressing.
A dear member of our Foti family received a difficult diagnosis . Janice learned last week that she has lung cancer which has spread to her brain and spine. Today, she begins receiving radiation treatment in hope that it will reduce the swelling in her brain. Two weeks from now, her doctor(s) will determine the course of action that should be taken. Her cancer is not beatable but may be treatable for a time and hopefully extends her life positively without pain.
Janice is 80 and a pillar in the Foti family. She and her husband Tom have an open-door policy, and visitors can always be found sitting around their kitchen table. They have 4 children who live within an hour or so of them along with more grandchildren and great-grandchildren than I can count. They are an incredibly close knit immediate family and a vital part of the close knit extended Foti family. There is so much love that goes on in Janice and Tom's home that it flows out and touches people they've never met.
Throughout her years, Janice has taken in many people during their final days and used her living room for their hospice. She unconditionally has made everyone's days more precious and full. Now is our time to support her and her loved ones.
Please ask the Prayer Warriors to keep Janice in their intentions. Whatever the doctors find or do, may she always have comfort and be filled with the love she has given so freely. May we also keep Tom to whom she has been married for 60 years (March 19th will be their 61st Anniversary), their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and loving friends in prayer that they receive the support they need so they can be the support she needs. And may they all receive an abundance of love and blessings during this challenging time.
Again thank you and the Prayer Warriors for all that you do.
Be well,
Shan
