Prayer Request from Irene for Monica Zuniga and June Badon

Hi there Michael,

Think of you and Teri often. You both are on my prayer list. 

I have two prayer requests from St. Agatha parishioners.

First, prayers for a young woman who suffers from mental illness, Monica Zuniga. Her Mom, Ana, is a prayerful woman who attends the noontime liturgy. Monica will be starting a new treatment soon. Monica has been in treatment for almost 20 years and she feels the devil is tormenting her. The devil is a liar! 

Secondly, for an elder parishioner, June Badon. Her health is okay but recently had to move into a nursing home to get a little more medical attention. Her daughter, Karen, requested we pray for her Mom as Mrs. Badon is having a hard time adjusting to her new home. Let also remember her daughter, Karen. As most of us know it's a special ministry to be a caregiver and never easy to make decisions for a parent or loved one.

Lord, look upon Monica with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
