Urgent Prayer Request from Teresa Gunther: Need lots of prayers for Ron, in hospital since Sunday...

This is from Teresa Gunther, and we thank you so much for your urgent prayers for her husband Ron, in the hospital with serious heart problems. My our Lord Jesus Christ give Ron His healing touch and may his healing and recovery be complete and swift, with the love of Christ, Teri & Michael (see below)

Dear Michael,  Coming to you this evening asking for lots and lots of prayers   My husband, Ron, has been hospitalized since Sunday evening at PIH Hospital in Whittier.   He was transported by ambulance to ER where he  was diagnosed with having had a heart attack but while in ER a few hours later he suffered a cardiac arrest and they were able to revive him and then transport him immediately to Critical Care Unit.   He has had two procedures Monday and Tuesday to insert stents successfully.   However, there is one blockage that cannot be opened and we have to consider a procedure tomorrow that is more difficult and could have serious side effects.

This is where we are now and I am simply asking all of our prayer community to storm the heavens with prayers for great success and good news.   We have been surrounded by all of our family and so many friends.   We have all joined hands in prayers these days and Ron knows the support is with him.   OUR GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!   Thank you all so much.   Teresa & Ron Gunther

Prayer Before Surgery
Loving Father, we entrust Ron to Your care; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, he may be restored to soundness of health and live in perfect harmony with You and with those around him. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon Ron with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon him, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
