Prayer Request - Teri Lanham

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Thank you for all your faithful prayers over the years.  We are told all the time by the people who are being prayed for that they truly feel the strength and healing power from the prayers and how awesome it is.

Now I need to ask for prayers for myself.  For those of you who don't know what's been going on with me....Sorry this will be a little lengthy. On Thursday I will be having a CT scan of my liver. I have been diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease which caused cirrhosis of my liver and they have to check it periodically to make sure there are no tumors or signs of cancer.  In the past few months I was hospitalized two times. Once for internal bleeding and the second time was for fluid on my lung.  We pray that my scan comes up clean and that there will be no more bleeding or fluid. All caused by my liver. We are also praying for the healing miracle of my hip. They cannot give me a hip replacement due to the condition of my liver and extremely low platelets.....so even though I'm in a massive amount of pain it's too dangerous.  This makes walking very difficult.  I also had seizures. One at the end of 2015 and two more episodes in 2016. On the last trip to emergency the paramedics injured/smashed my hand/finger.  Smashed it so bad I almost lost a finger. I have a good surgeon who saved it but I'm not able to do a lot with my left hand. Due to all these problems I can no longer do my sound engineering work which I love and miss. We also are praying for favor as our financial situation has worsened.  Neither one of us are able to work but we do want to thank Our Lord for the blessings He has already bestowed upon us.  He will provide! We pray for strength to be able to go to mass and return to singing with our beloved Gospel choir on a regular basis and be able to share mass with our St Agatha family again.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
