Prayer Request for Ken Mathewson.....my cousin Janice's husband

Dear Prayer Warriors,

We need some miracles for Ken and Janice. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer with a life expectancy of 6 months. Janice is disabled and Ken has been her caregiver for the past few years.  We are all worried about them. We are unable to see them as they live in Las Vegas. Thank you so much for praying for them.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Ken with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon him, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

To Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, You have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which You have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to You. For so many years You bore in Your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal Your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to You. (Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying... Ken Mathewson) Aided in this way by Your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
