Prayer Request from Teri - prayers for the soul of Maline Baty-Johnson, Rest In Peace

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Please pray for the Baty family at this time. They lost a family member this week....Maline Baty Johnson.  I grew up with the whole family....and I'm still grieving the loss of her sister Valentine, who was one of my oldest and closest friends of 50+ years. Valentine died in 2015 of liver cancer. From what we know, Maline apparently died in bed two nights ago.  Thank you for keeping all of us in your prayers.

Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You forever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
