Prayer Request for Merrilyn Brown and family - eldest son Ken, Rest In Peace

This is from Merrilyn Brown. Please join us in prayer for the Brown family for their strength, courage and comfort. Thank you so much for your prayers and God bless you and your family, Teri & Michael (see below)

Hi Teri and Michael, praying for Cris's son, ironically may we ask you all to pray for our family also. Our eldest son, Ken, had an apparent heart attack yesterday and passed away. He was only 62 and the rock of his family which consists of his wife, Debbie, daughter Kelsey, granddaughter Gwennie ( only a year old ) and son Ryan. It was so unexpected and we are all in shock! Thanks so much for your love and prayers!  Merrilyn

In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You forever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer In Time Of Bereavement
Dearest Jesus, who wept at the death of Your friend and taught that they who mourn shall be comforted,  grant us the comfort of Your presence in our loss. Send Your Holy Spirit to direct us.
Send Your Spirit to give us courage. Send Your Spirit to bring us Your peace. The Lord has given. The Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. O sweet mother Mary, who knew the sadness of mourning those your heart loved most, Jesus, your Son, and Joseph, your devoted spouse, pray for us in our time of loss.  Amen.

A Plea for Divine Help
Hear us, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, and graciously send your holy angel from heaven to watch over, to protect, to abide with, and to give strength to Merrilyn Brown and all her family now and always, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
