Urgent Prayer Request for Teri Lanham - in hospital from more seizures

Dearest Prayer Warriors,

Teri had another seizure Thursday morning and it scared me to death again. This time it seemed as if she was having a stroke at first, because she wasn't talking right and saying things that didn't make sense. Then she just kept staring off into space and I was frantically trying to get a phone to work to call 911. When they arrived she started to have more seizure like symptoms where she turns to her left and stares. They took her to Marina Del Rey hospital and took good care of her for about twelve hours, but had to intubate her for the first time, and then felt she really needed to go to Cedars-Sinai for the best help in their Critical Care Center.

So, Teri is now at Cedars-Sinai Neurological ICU and is still intubated to make sure she is breathing properly. They are keeping her sedated so she doesn't try to remove it, and she has tried so they also have her hands tied down. Even though her eyes opened a little I don't know if she recognized me or not, but when I asked her to squeeze my fingers she did. Right now she's sleeping. Her Neuro doctor talked to me from her office through a monitor so she could see Teri and decided to up her dose of anti seizure meds. I'm spending the night at Cedars with her and we'll see what happens tomorrow (Friday).

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Teri with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Prayer for healing from Epilepsy
God of all creation, You who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from the darkness, I ask You now to send forth Your miracle-working power to heal Teri from epilepsy. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by speaking a simple command, You empowered the crippled to rise up and walk. You sent forth Your life-giving power to all those in need, including those You raised from the dead. I ask You to send forth Your healing power into Teri and give her the strength and courage to fight her illness. We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
