Prayer Request from Shane: More family prayer requests

Hi Teri & Michael - 

I know you're in the midst of your own trials right now, so please don't worry if you can't get to this request any time soon. Hope the doctors at Cedars have been blessed and inspired with the knowledge to heal.

I'd like to ask for prayers for my family in Ohio... after much professional counseling and prayer my sister has decided to file for divorce. Please pray for her, her two young sons, our extended family, and her soon-to-be ex-husband, who needs to focus on his own life issues so he can be a healthy and successful role model for his children.

Also, my father had some routine blood work come back that contained elevated indicators for prostate cancer. Hopefully further testing will rule it out, but it does run in our family. If it does prove to be cancer, please pray for swift, comfortable and effective treatment.

A Plea for Divine Help

Hear us, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, and graciously send your holy angel from heaven to watch over, to protect, to abide with, and to give strength to Shane's sister and all her family and also his father now and always, and we ask that his father's doctors find no cancer, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
