Prayer Request from Marcus: Prayer for me

Hello again, family!

This is another workplace-related prayer request, but on a more personal level.  As some of you know, I work in the area of sales and this can often be a cut-throat, competitive business.  Add to that the fact that when something is good or stands to be good the enemy always likes to get in the mix and operate through people and circumstances.

On Friday, my manager called me to tell me that a small brokerage I was recently assigned to does not wish to work with me anymore because they claim I am inept.  The reality is that I have refused to provide them with 'kickbacks', bend the rules and thereby jeopardize my insurance license by honoring some of their outrageous and illegal requests.  This is not the first time I've denied/pushed back on such requests from realtors, but it is the first time that my employer has received a complaint about my competency.  Fortunately, my company backs me up 100%.  Nevertheless, these false and calumnious claims are irksome and unfair.  

And so I'm requesting your prayers that I am able to let it go...leave it at the cross...so that the truth is revealed and these adversaries are either removed from my path or their hearts convicted.

Hear us, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, and graciously send your holy angel from heaven to watch over, to protect, to abide with and to give strength to Marcus now and always, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
