Prayer Request from Linda Sharon for Kathleen

Dear Michael & Teri ... 

I hope to hear Teri has good news soon and with all of us praying for her, I know she'll get a donor. God bless her 100 times over.

I do have a prayer request. The music director at St Francis De Sales School in Sherman Oaks has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She's having chemo in hopes the tumor will shrink and they can do surgery to remove it.  Kathleen has been at St. Francis' for at least 35 years and she's definitely a miracle worker with the children. She herself has the most beautiful voice ever and it's like an angel sings when you hear her at mass. Not many people know about her illness yet so i'm asking our prayer group to let the Lord know He has a fervent devotee here who desperately needs His help.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Kathleen with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

To Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, You have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which You have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to You. For so many years You bore in Your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal Your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Kathleen whom we entrust to You. Aided in this way by Your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Almighty, true and incomparable God,  You are present in all things, yet in no way limited by them. You remain unaffected by place, untouched by time, unperturbed by years, and undeceived by words. You are not subject to birth and in no need of protection. You are beyond all corruption, above all change, immutable by nature. You live in unapproachable light and are invisible, yet You are known to all those

who seek You with hope and love. You are the God of Israel, and of all who hope in Christ. Amen.
