Urgent Prayer Request from Brenda Chiavarini for Clayton Long

(Please accept my apologies for once again being very late in sending along a few prayer requests, this being one of them. Praise God that He hears these requests when they are first lifted up and is all knowing and has all power, even to answer our delayed prayers. My good friend Clayton Long went into surgery yesterday (July 12) for a heart transplant. The procedure went well but unfortunately the heart is not responding the way it should.  He has not been able to come off support as is a typical plan.  He is on full life support (ECMO) and dialysis and all maximum meds. Please keep him in your prayers that the heart start to respond well and the Lord helps him come through this healthy and strong. Keep his 4 kids and wife in your prayers, also.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Clayton with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon him, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Prayer for Continued Healing

O God who are the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe, grant to Clayton such a consciousness of Your indwelling and surrounding presence that he may permit You to give him health and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
