Prayers for Teri, in hospital after major seizure Saturday

Dearest Prayer Warriors,

Please forgive my missing many prayer requests; know that you are in my prayers also. Now I am asking for prayers for Teri. She had another violent seizure early Saturday morning and another in the ER, both lasting a long time. She had been suffering for weeks with a lot of pain from her ribs and abdomen, and also complaining she was always cold. I don't know if these symptoms are connected to her episodes, but the seizures do seem to be related to her liver disease and her very low blood sodium level. Earlier this year she was hospitalized after seizures and her blood sodium level was 126, and the doctor adjusted one of her meds. This time it had dropped to 120, dangerously low, and she also has encephalopathy, which she is not really aware that she has. In 2019 she had to be restrained after seizures, but it was discovered she had a UTI which caused agitation and distress, so this time they started with antibiotics early to keep down any possible infections. I talked to her briefly today, but she was still somewhat confused and upset about being restrained again. I feel so bad that I can't be there now, they say maybe later would be possible. They have done many tests and have more to do. Please keep her in your prayers for the Holy Spirit to guide and protect her, keep her safe and strong, and bring her back to us fully recovered and restored to health, ready to continue her fight to receive a new liver. We also pray for all the Doctors and Nurses doing everything they can for all of us, everyday, and may they be kept safe and healthy and blessed.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Teri with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Prayer Before Medical Procedure

Loving Father, we entrust Teri to Your care; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, she may be restored to soundness of health and live in perfect harmony with You and with those around her. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.

PRAYER FOR THE SICK AND SUFFERING.

O Almighty Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior.

The same Lord that so loves His children

as to lay His life down for them.

The same Lord that rose from the dead on the third day,

and Ascended into Heaven.

The same Lord that spoke the word

and the Centurion's Servant was immediately healed.

The same Lord that restored sight to the blind;

cleansed lepers, cured the halt and lame.

The same Lord that with a word

rebuked the seas and they were calm.

The same Lord that raised Lazarus from the dead.

The same Lord that has been given all power

both in Heaven and on earth, do Thou,

the same Lord visit and heal Thy servant, Teri Lanham,
from the afflictions that they are now suffering.

Strengthen our faith like that of the Roman Centurion,

so that we may ask for this healing with the same faith,

trust, and hope that Thy servant, Teri Lanham,

will be healed in the same manner that the
Centurion's servant was restored to health.

O Holy physician of our souls and bodies,

hear this fervent prayer for Thy servant

Teri Lanham, and grant this request as we hold this,

Thy servant up before Thy glorious Throne.

We ask this in the victorious and Holy Name
of our Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ.   Amen.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
