Prayer Request from Doreen

Dear Prayer Warriors,

I would like to ask for prayers for a dear friend who lost her life tragically in March 2008.  Larry and I just found out about her death yesterday, when a Christmas card we had sent her was returned with the word deceased written on the envelope.  Gayle Katherine Patrick was 66 years old, and was living in Tucson, Arizona.  She had worked for LAUSD for several years, and had planned to retire in Tucson to be close to a church community that was special to her.  She had only been there a short time when she was killed at gunpoint last March.  It saddens me that her life ended so tragically because she was a such a good person, always doing all she could to help others and to improve her spiritual life.  Please pray for the repose of her soul.
