Please pray for the soul of Steve 'The Dream' Thomas

This is from Clare. Thank you for your prayers and God bless you and your loved ones, Teri & Michael (see below)

Michael,

I would like to ask the Prayer Warriors to pray for the soul of a friend of mine on the Outer Banks - Steve 'The Dream' Thomas. He died in a surfing accident Sunday. Not only will he be missed by his teenage daughters and grown-up sons, but he leaves behind a community in mourning for a very special person who loved to bring joy to people's lives through his selfless acts of kindness and his love for children of all ages. He read to them, sang to them, acted for them and was everyone's favorite DJ.

As the Pamlico Jack restaurant said on their banner, where he was the 'pirate' spokesperson  - 'God has taken our Captain - may he rest in peace'.

I think of you all often and hold you all in a special place in my heart.

Blessings,
Clare

In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of your Son on the cross, you have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead you have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in you on earth praise you for ever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
