This is from Margie Nickleberry, and we thank you for keeping her and her whole family in your prayers at this very emotional and difficult time. Please pray for the repose of the soul of Madeline, and for the comfort and strength of those who have loved and cared for her and are grieving and missing her. May God's angels keep them close. Thank you again, prayer warriors, and God bless you and your families, Teri & Michael (see below)
Dear Michael and Teri. Thank you and the prayer warriors for your compassionate hearts, prayers and support for my sister Madeline during her illness. We painfully removed Madeline from the ventilator tonight and she is now in the loving arms of our Lord. It had been a lengthy battle for Madeline from July 16 through today, and you all have supported Madeline and my family through your prayers. We are grateful to each and everyone of you. God heard your prayers and allowed us more time with her. These four weeks that I had with her were awesome, she had started to eat again, her spirits were way up and the anxiety was way down. On the Sunday she had the Cardiac Arrest, she had just the second before been listening to a minister on the Bobby Jones Gospel Hour and talking to the nursing assistant about the message. Your prayers gave us the strength to listen to our head and not hold her here like our hearts wanted to do.... Amen.
Have a blessed day.
Blessings,
Margie Nickleberry
In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of your Son on the cross, you have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead you have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in you on earth praise you for ever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
