Dear McArdle Family,
I wanted to give you the latest update on Verlie. I spoke to Rosemary and Mercy today. Verlie is eating less and sleeping more. She is not able to sit up in the chair anymore because she is just too weak. She continues to have a build up of secretions in her lungs. It is referred to as crackles in the lungs. Rosemary is trying to reduce it as much as possible by giving her some Atropine which helps to dry up the secretions. She is also looking into some other meds which will help try to dry up the secretions as well. She is waiting for a call back from Dr. Vinn. I will be visiting her again with in the next couple of days. Please feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Margo

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.
