Prayer Request for Phi Graves and family

Dear Prayer Warriors,

We are asking for many prayers for Phi Graves and her family. She is a long time member of the St Agatha Gospel Choir and she just lost her sister Michelle last Saturday, July 9th, in Texas. Phi told us her sister used to teach at the Catholic school they were raised in but was laid off due to the bad economy, and after losing their mother recently, had become despondent. We do not know the cause of death. Please pray for the repose of Michelle's soul and for comfort and strength for her entire family. It has fallen upon Phi to take care of her sister's belongings, which requires getting professional help to clean up her home where she had been found deceased. Since Michelle lived in Texas, Phi first had to find a way to get there ASAP and was blessed by church donations to help with that. So we also pray for traveling graces for her and her children, who are going with her. Unfortunately they do not get along so we also pray for a peaceful trip for the family. May their Guardian Angels and the Holy Spirit be with them on their journey to guide and calm them and may they have peace and strength to do what is necessary once they get to their destination.

Prayer before Starting on a Journey
My holy Angel Guardian, ask the Lord to bless the journey which I undertake, that it may profit the health of my soul and body; that I may reach its end, and that, returning safe and sound, I may find my family in good health. Do thou guard, guide and preserve us. Amen.

Prayer of Solace
May Christ support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and peace at the last.
