This is from our friends Linda & Plato and St Agatha choir members. Please keep Plato's sister Cecelia lifted up in prayer as much as you can, that she will experience a miraculous healing in Jesus' name! Thank you for keeping all of the family in your prayers for their strength, courage and faith. May they be comforted by the Angels surrounding them now. Thank you and God bless you, Teri & Michael (see below)
Hello Michael,
I have a prayer request. Plato's older sister, Cecelia, whom he's very close to, has been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. According to the Dr's she can only do Chemo, and that would be to just buy her a little more time. She's in a lot of pain and has been very uncomfortable for awhile. At least now. she knows why.
Please ask the prayer warriors to lift her up! She's a powerful woman and has been a great matriarch since his mother passed a few years ago. She's beloved by everyone in the family, and it's hard to even imagine a family gathering without her in charge!
Thank you for what you do! And, I hope you & Teri are feeling better!
God Bless,
Linda Brown
Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.
