Prayer Request from Teresa Gunther: Prayers for Don Brenier needed

This is from Teresa Gunther. Please keep her nephew Don in your prayers for a miracle healing. May the healing touch of Jesus be laid upon him in His mercy, we pray in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Thank you so much for your prayers and God bless you, Teri & Michael (see below)

Michael and Teri,   Asking for continued prayers for our nephew, Don Brenier, who is still dealing with brain and lung tumors.    He will be seeing specialist again at USC on  Tuesday, Feb. 28th.  They will be discussing possible new chemo treatments.   Don is still needing the oxygen at home on occasion so his lungs are still not healed after the pneumonia he had late last year.   We know how powerful prayer is and we are putting all of this in God's healing hands.    Thanks to all of you for your continued prayers and support.

previous prayer requests:
Oct 14, 2011:  Also asking continued prayers for Don Brenier.    He will be seeing specialist in melanoma treatment today at USC Norris Cancer Hospital to see if there is more that can be done to help with his recovery.    He is still on oxygen at home to help with recovery from the pneumonia he has been dealing with for almost two months. Michael and Teri,   Thank you so much  for all you do to keep this prayer chain going. It is such a gift to all.
Oct 3, 2011:  We are  asking continued prayers for Don.   He was released from  the hospital a couple of weeks ago after being diagnosed with a very aggressive pneumonia which probably is a side effect of the new medication he has been taking to fight the cancer.   He is on oxygen most of the time at home and has a portable tank when he leaves the house.  He has an appointment October 14 at USC Norris Cancer Hospital with a melanoma specialist for a further consultation. We pray for good news.
Sept 2, 2011: Hi, Michael and Teri,  Thank you for helping so many who are in need of someone to care enough to pray for them. What a blessing!! I am asking our prayer community for continued prayers for my nephew, Don, who is dealing with melanoma  of the brain.   He has completed his  radiation and  chemo treatments   which were started after the surgery to remove the tumor in  May.    He is dealing now with some side affects of the treatments and all the emotions that seem to be overwhelming.  He is married and has three small children and we know how concerned he is for all of them as well.     We all believe that God is so very present to this family, and we ask His continued  blessings for them.     Thank all of you for your prayers.

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.
