Prayer Request Update from Rose: Sing Praises!

This is an update on Ed Miller from Rose. Praise God, and thank you for your prayers! God bless you all, Teri & Michael (see below)

 

Hi Michael and Teri,

 

An update regarding Ed Miller. He saw a cardiologist this week. Ed had a bypass 20 years ago. Kaye, Ed's wife, called yesterday evening. Her first words were, "Prayers work." Ed is doing well. He does have a clog in an artery, but the cardiologist told Ed not to worry. Kaye is glad we prayed. She said, "Now is the time for thanks."  And it causes me to think of words to one of our choir songs. "Somebody prayed for me, had me on their mind, took the time and prayed for me. And isn't wondrous, that such a BIG and LOVING GOD takes the time to hear our every prayer, and answers? But then why not? HE can even touch a tree and turn the leaves to gold.

 

May all of our days be filled with gladness and thanksgiving.

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
O God, of Whose mercies there is no number, and of Whose goodness the treasure is infinite; we render thanks to Your most gracious majesty for the gifts You have bestowed upon us, evermore beseeching Your clemency, that as You grant the petitions of them that ask You, You will never forsake them, but will prepare for the reward to come. Through Christ our Lord.
