Praise Report: Michael Lanham

Dear Prayer Warriors,

We would like to thank the people who responded to the prayer request regarding Michael's legs. We will continue to contact and research the information you all passed to us, e.g., there is a type of revision surgery that might help to alleviate some of the phantom pain and to get a better fit for prosthetics.

Today, Michael had an appointment with a new prosthetist, Robert Reeves,  who turned out to be great.  He was caring and compassionate and very interested in helping Michael. He even continued the appointment 2 hours past his time to go home. Rob answered our questions, was straight forward and was very reassuring. Most importantly he was able to fix a leg for Michael. He replaced the foot on his old leg with the foot from his new leg and made Michael a stable leg and foot to use until they get ready to make a new one that fits properly.  We know that the success of this appointment was truly the answer to prayers. We praise and thank Our Lord for this blessing and all the many blessings he has bestowed on us. We ask Him to continue to bless Robert Reeves, Hanger Prosthetics and all people involved in Michael's case. We are reminded over and over again that nothing is impossible with prayer.

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
O God, of Whose mercies there is no number, and of Whose goodness the treasure is infinite; we render thanks to Your most gracious majesty for the gifts You have bestowed upon us, evermore beseeching Your clemency, that as You grant the petitions of them that ask You, You will never forsake them, but will prepare for the reward to come. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
