Prayer Request from Teresa Gunther: More prayers......

This is from Teresa Gunther. Please keep her special people in your prayers for their healing and recovery, even if it calls for a miracle. We know that miracles do happen, and that "...your faith has saved you," as Jesus told the Samaritan leper (the one out of nine) who came back to thank Him for his healing. Hi, Teri & Michael,    Have a couple of very special people needing lots of prayers right now!!    My daughter-in-law who is our colon cancer survivor of 7 years has recently had a lump appear on her neck and after extensive scans, etc., her oncologist says he wants to do an MRI because one of the scans shows a small something on or near the gallbladder.    She will be having an ultrasound on Oct. 31st for the neck and is in the process of getting the MRI for new scan scheduled for a future date.    We are definitely needing prayers for her and all her family.

My young friend, Allan, in Texas with the ongoing cancer struggle for his stomach will start chemo again this coming Monday.    He tells his mother that he is sure all the prayers have made him physically feel better and some of his tests have been a little more positive lately.    He apparently accepts the fact that none of this is operable.

We are all praying for the many requests you send us Michael and just need these two to be added.    Thanks to all of our prayer partners.    God is in charge....

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
