Prayer Request from Tiffany Mayberry: Update - Ron Mayberry

Hi All,    We are reaching out to you all again for your prayers and well wishes. Dad's   amputation is scheduled for today at 2pm. The podiatry team is not able to   confirm with us yet if they will only be removing the toes or a bit more of his   foot, but we are praying it will only be the toes.    Although he's already been through so much these past 22 days in the hospital,   Dad is still holding his own. He continues to make us laugh and still has a zest   for life. He definitely is tired though of being in the bed and in the hospital   and says everyday he wants to come home. We are staying diligent in prayer that   his wishes come true soon and he walks out of Cedars strong and in the best of   spirits!    His body is weak from being in a bed for 3 weeks now and he's experienced some   other complications from that and just being in critical care from ICU. His   short term memory is a bit hazy, but it could be due to all the medication he's   currently on or just recently coming out of the coma. The neurology team plans   to conduct another test but we are convinced this is only temporary. He knows   who each and every one of us is (because I mention you all to him and he gives   his best) and still knows his news, politics, sports, etc.     We will continue to keep all of you up to date on his health and recovery. Thank   you SO much for continuing to be Dad's prayer warriors and being so instrumental   in keeping him strong and improving day by day. Prayer Before Surgery  Loving Father, we entrust Ron to Your care; guide with wisdom and skill the  minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that  every cause of illness be removed, he may be restored to soundness of health  and live in perfect harmony with You and with those around him.
