Prayer Request from Linda Blue for Tom Blue and Tom Suchy

HI MICHAEL AND TERI….hope all is well with you both….I pray for everyone all the time, but time eludes me

these days….going at warp speed.

I have two requests….two TOM's…one is my brother in law, Tom Blue…the other a long time, dear friend,

Tom Suchy (Soo - key) who was my partner up at UCLA…another EM….who has recently been diagnosed

with (and I believe it's a return to a once cured leukemia) Myelodysplastic syndrome…disorders of the bone

marrow leading to acute leukemia…..he also was diagnosed with a chronic kind….He's going into chemo

again from what he told me….As far as I've experienced with Tom Blue and several others in last two

years….the chemo led to their deaths….its basically poison.  But Tom S. is hopeful and started volunteering

at UCLA because the nurses were so good to him….many years ago.

  Anyway, it's another heartache —so many close to me suffering critical illnesses….Please keep my

Two TOMS  in your prayers….thanks again, so very much. Tom Blue may be on his last attempt chemo

after 2 or 3 years of battling cancer….He's Robert's brother, of course.  Not looking good, but I keep praying.

Hope Teri is doing better these days.  I think of you daily….Have not been on the computer daily….

but the prayers DO CONTINUE  DAILY !  Take good care, both of YOU.  My LOVE and THANKS + + + + +

Lord, look upon Tom Blue with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon him, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

To Saint Peregrine
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Tom Blue and Tom Suchy whom we entrust to you. Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Prayer for the Sick

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your will and know that whatever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.
