Prayer request for friends of Deborah Shippen

This is from Deborah. Please join me in lifting up her friends in prayer and also pray for Deborah and her family for their loss. Thank you and may God bless you all, Michael (see below)

 

Dear Michael,

My friend Dawn Helmer(39) was killed in a car accident when a speeding truck,
trying to make an exit, struck her SUV.  It rolled and she was partially ejected
and killed instantly.  Her son Trace(9), is a friend of my daughter Grace, and
was in the back seat and saw everything, thank God he was not physically hurt. 
Both were wearing seatbelts. 

I spoke to his father David Hurst yesterday.  He said this experience with our
church, this past week, has moved him to want to join.  His step brother and
wife also said they wanted to join after experiencing the outpouring of love at
the funeral.

My prayer request is threefold:
For the repose of the soul of Dawn Helmer.
For the Helmer family, especially Trace.
For the Holy Spirit to continue to move David Hurst and his side of the family
to join our Blessed Sacrament parish.
