Marcia: Prayers for David Navarro

Hi Michael,

 

I need immediate prayers for one of my students David Navarro. David is an ex-gang member and was homeless living on the beaches of Santa Monica up until about 8 months ago. Now David lives in a shelter and attends college. He was doing very well up until this week when he disappeared. David checks in with me every day (I have totally adopted him), but he has not been to school or to work all week. I just received an email from him stating that he is very depressed and feeling the way he did when he was homeless. This is VERY alarming because David almost successfully took his life last year while living on the streets.

 

David is very angry with God and has never felt the love of a parent. He is a wonderful young man with a kind and giving heart. He is a talented artist and loves to write (another talent). I know that God has a plan for this child, but he is being attacked daily.

 

Please ask everyone to pray their strongest prayers for David. He needs to know the love of God and his spirit is in desperate need of peace.
