Special prayer request from Dorothy

This is from our beloved Dorothy, and we thank you for adding her requests to your prayers. God bless you and your family, Teri & Michael (see below)

 

Dear Michael,

Please lift up in special prayers the soul of Kelly, 35, wife of Mike and dear friend of a close friend of ours, who passed away this morning after a valiant battle with a brutal cancer.   Shane and I first met Kelly in 2007 on a trip to Mexico (she'd already battled cancer once at that point) and her infectious laugh and smile instantly charmed all who were there.   Her friends, family, and especially her husband Mike will need all the support and prayers they can get at this incredibly difficult time.

Prayer of Solace
May Christ support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and peace at the last.
