Prayer Requests from Marcia

This is from Marcia and I meant to send it yesterday. Please keep Jaime in your prayers and praise God he is doing better; we also pray for her second request, having faith that God knows best and His Love and Mercy will prevail. Hi Michael,

 

I have two prayer requests. My first request is for continued prayers for Jaime Rubalcava who is still in ICU at Cedars Sinai Hospital, but doing much, much better.

I believe, rather I know, with our continued prayers he will have a full recovery and come home very soon.

 

My second request is for a very close friend who needs deep prayers for her son who is in great need of love and attention from his father. The father has been mostly absent from his life and sometimes promises to visit but never does. Her son is becoming sad and depressed as he sees his friends with fathers and longs to have a relationship with his own. The father has promised to pick the boy up this weekend to spend time with him. Please pray that God touches this man's heart and make a decision to be a positive part of his son's life. And please ask our prayer warriors to pray he keep his word about picking his son up this weekend.

 

This young man is remarkable. He has a natural kindness and love for God. All who know him love him and his sweet, sweet spirit.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in your great love for me and all your people. I ask you to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout your church through the prayers of your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize your presence and your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
