Prayer Request: Update on Paul Klima, Doreen's Dad

Dear Prayer Warriors,

This is an update on Paul Klima, Doreen's father, 87, who is now back at home after being taken by ambulance in the middle of the night to Kaiser. He was severely dehydrated and was given an I.V., but the cause of his pain and dramatic weight loss - 40 lbs over a short period of time -  has not been determined. His oncologist is waiting on test results and may be able to shed light on his condition. We ask for continued prayers for Paul that he will be quickly and accurately diagnosed and that the Healing Hand of God will return him to complete health and freedom from pain. Also, please keep Doreen and Larry (who is still recovering from his successful hernia operation, praise God!) in your prayers, too.

 This is an urgent request from Doreen & Larry Feldman for Doreen's father Paul Klima who was rushed to the hospital by paramedics early this morning (2:30 a.m.). When we know what his condition is we will send out an update, but in the meantime your prayers are so very much appreciated.

Dear Michael and Teri,

I'm writing to request prayers for my father.  You may remember he had a hip replacement surgery

last July.  I thank you all for your prayers for him at that time.  His recovery was slow, but he seemed to

be steadily improving until just recently.  Over the past few weeks his health has declined drastically.  

He has lost his appetite, and is looking weak and frail.  He can barely walk because of former back pain,

and it is difficult to see him go through so much suffering.  Please ask the prayer warriors to keep my father,

Paul Klima, in their prayers.  We are hoping for another miracle that will pull him through this slump.

PRAYER FOR THE SICK AND SUFFERING.
O Almighty Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior. 
The same Lord that so loves His children as to lay His life down for them. 
The same Lord that rose from the dead on the third day, and Ascended into Heaven. 
The same Lord that spoke the word and the Centurion's Servant was immediately healed. 
The same Lord that restored sight to the blind; cleansed lepers, cured the halt and lame. The same Lord that with a word rebuked the seas and they were calm. 
The same Lord that raised Lazarus from the dead. 
The same Lord that has been given all power both in Heaven and on earth, do Thou, 
the same Lord visit and heal Thy servant, (Mention the person here...Paul Klima), from the afflictions that they are now suffering. Strengthen our faith like that of the Roman Centurion, so that we may ask for this healing with the same faith, trust, and hope that Thy servant, (Mention the person here...Paul Klima), will be healed in the same manner that the Centurion's servant was restored to health. O Holy physician of our souls and bodies, hear this fervent prayer for Thy servant (Mention the person here...Paul Klima), and grant this request as we hold this, Thy servant up before Thy glorious Throne. We ask this in the victorious and Holy Name of our Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Michael & Teri, 
I would like to request prayers for my father, Paul Klima. He is 86 years old and he is going in for hip replacement surgery this Friday morning at 6:30 AM. His doctor gave him a "high risk" okay to go ahead with the surgery. I would like to ask the Prayer Warriors if they could please pray for my father and for a successful surgery. Dear Michael,
I would like to request prayers for my dad.  He went into the hospital yesterday to have a very simple out-patient surgery -- a pain management device inserted, but something went wrong.  After the surgery he had horrible pain in his legs -- pain that was not there before.  He is in so much pain that he can't stand even stand, and the doctor decided to keep him in overnight.  They don't know why he has this pain, and they're doing a cat scan to find out what's going on.  I know that God hears and answers all prayers, and I would just like to ask that the prayer warriors please pray for my dad, Paul Klima, that his pain will be completely relieved, and that he will fully recover his ability to walk.  Please also pray for my mom and my family, as we are all very distressed about this.

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your will and know that whatever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.
