Prayer Request from Herbert: Prayers for Monica

This is an update on Monica from Herbert Holt. Thank you for continuing to keep her in your prayers and may God be with you and your loved ones, now and always, Teri & Michael (see below)

Dear Mike and Teri, today Vikki and I visited Monica at her home today. Please ask our Prayer Warriors to continue elevating their prayers to our Lord, the Great Physician, Who knows the daily suffering she is enduring. May He soothe the frustration she may sometimes find in her condition. Herb

This is from our dear friend and fellow choir member Herbert Holt. Please join us in praying for Monica Weathers, loyal and longtime member of St Agatha's, for healing and strength right now to undergo whatever treatment that lies ahead in battling the recurrence of her cancer. Dear Mike & Teri,

 

Please ask our wonderful Prayer Warriors to lift up our Church sister, Monica Weathers in prayers.  Twenty years ago. she was diagnosed with breast cancer and now it has resurfaced and is spreading to her brains. She went to Kaiser Permanente Hospital on Sunset Blvd today, and they kept her in for more observation.  Apparently, they found a spot on her lungs and she is coughing a lot.  Let us ask our Almighty Father to grant her a great measure of faith to accept the medical findings and that they will continue to use the knowledge and skills He has given them.

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your will and know that whatever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.
