Please pray first, for my brother Billy, who will need open heart surgery some time in October (he is 41), and may need additional surgery beyond. He is a doctor, he is struggling with being ill, and he needs prayers. He does believe in prayer (I am certain) but has a tough time with illness. Now he is facing his own.
Please also pray that this condition manifests itself in no further way in my family. Let us not pass on this condition to any future generations.
2. a dear friend of ours just let us know that he and his wife delivered via emergency c-section, a set of twin girls, born at 29 weeks on Sept 1. One of the twins has since just passed away. Please pray hard for himself and his wife, for their family (they have a little boy, age 6) and for the surviving twin, who is still in the NICU. They are big believers in prayer, and have asked for prayers to flow their way.
Please keep these special requests in your hearts, and thank you, Michael for being our archangel.

- my brother has recently discovered a life threatening genetic heart condition in our family (hypertrophic cardiac myopathy – it's a bad one). My two brothers both have it, my sister and I do not (a HUGE praise report for that). We may however be carriers. I – and our daughter – will both be genetically tested further at some point soon.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING
Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer. In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
