Prayer Request - Update for Valentine Baty's surgery

Dear Prayer Warriors,

This is an update and thank you for your prayers for Valentine Baty. Her doctors said her very long major surgery went well on Tuesday, thanks be to God! Please continue your prayers as Valentine has asked our Prayer Warriors (through a text message) to "please not forget her or give up on her miracle request." She asks us to "pull out all the stops" in praying for her healing. We first want to be grateful to Our Lord for the news that the "gyno doc got everything." But more prayers are needed as the gastro doc told Valentine this morning that "although the bowel mass was successfully excised (about a foot) there are still lots of unidentifiable tumors scattered in and around the gastro," so we are praying that they are non-carcinoid.  In spite of the infection that occurred at the surgical site, she is doing well and is supposed to be going home today.

Lord, look upon Valentine with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon him, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Please continue praying for my longtime childhood friend, Valentine. She has been through a battery of tests with results that are not good.  Of the three tumors they found, the one on her small intestines, is a Neuroendocrine tumor and after seeing all the test results the doctor has moved her surgery up from October 31 to this coming Thursday, the 24th. The other two tumors, one on each ovary, are benign. The Neuroendocrine tumor could possibly spread to the heart, liver, pancreas, and lungs. We pray that this has not happened already and will not happen in the future.

Dear Lord, we pray that when the doctors do this exploratory surgery on Thursday that they find that all the tumors are gone and all is perfect. Lord please bless and guide all the surgeons, doctors, nurses and caregivers that will be attending her. Please grant Valentine a complete healing miracle of any and all maladies, restoring her to perfect health. Blessed Mother, please wrap Valentine in your loving arms and keep her safe from all harm. St Michael, the Archangel defend her in this battle.

PRAYER FOR HEALING

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for You are my praise. I praise You, mighty Father. You forgive all my iniquities, and You heal all my diseases. Thank You, Lord. When I am sick, You send Your Word, and it heals me and delivers me from all destructions. Your Word is life to me, and it brings healing to my flesh. Thank You for the healing power of Your Word, Father. I will never let it depart from my eyes. I will keep Your Word deeply implanted within my heart. Praise Your name, holy Father. I love You, and I thank You for healing me and keeping me in good health. Amen.
