Dear Family,
Unfortunately, Jeff is still hospitalized. They were originally hoping to discharge him yesterday, but in addition to his colitis, he's developed complications with his bladder. They've put the catheter back in and informed him that he may have to use it for quite some time until this infection clears. I'm sure they'll be running more tests to see what the source of all this is.
Sadly, it looks like he won't likely be home for Thanksgiving. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Dear Prayer Warriors,
Please keep Teri's cousin Jeff Spilky in your prayers. He has been in the hospital since Thursday, having been brought there by ambulance due to severe intestinal pain. He was finally diagnosed with colitis, along with other complications, and may be released on Monday. He was in so much pain he was given morphine, a drug he has never had before, but thank God he is doing better now.
Thank you so much for lifting him up for complete recovery and healing. He is looking forward to getting back to church which he has been attending regularly for quite some time, praise God. May you and your families be blessed and have a beautiful Thanksgiving.

Lord, look upon Jeff with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon him, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen
